Restaurant/places to eat in Best Western Chatuchak
Property building in Best Western Chatuchak
Location: 2 min walk to MRT Kamphaeng Phet exit 1. Only 3 min walk to Chatuchak Weekend Market. (But it takes 30 mins mrt/bts at least to Central World or other center shopping malls.) 7-11 is just cross the road. Food(not breakfast): one day we came back late and ordered stir-fry ricecake strips from 4F restaurant. It’s unbelievably tasty! Room: it has bigger inside than Best Western Click Sathorn 11 Bangkok. Curtain design covered the light pretty well. King-size bed is made up of two single beds; good thing is any movement of your partner wouldn't affect you. Taxi service: we asked the reception for a taxi to Airport and we get one less than 10 mins. High-way charge is clarified and open between passengers and taxi driver before departure. The high efficiency of reception staffs needs a applause. In-house massage: not expensive with good service.

My experience in Best Western Chatuchak was amazing. The thing that I loved most while staying here, was the behavior of all the employees. They were always willing to help and had a smile on their face. The room that was given to us at first did not have a good view. But when I asked them to give another room, they sincerely gave us another room with a better view. I needed a help to book a hop on/ hop off bus tour, both the employees at reception earnestly helped me book the tour. The check-in and check-out service was very quick. The breakfast of the hotel was amazing. I stayed here for 10 days, and the items were yummy and not repetitive. The whole interior and vibe of the hotel was very aesthetic. The cleanliness of the hotel was top notch.

The hotel was very clean. Bedroom was clean, with a very comfortable bed, and it was quiet at night. The hotel has a uniquely styled reception area and an elevated cocktail bar with night-time views over the city lights. The location is a 7 minute taxi ride from Krung Thep Aphiwat mainline railway station and is 250m from Kamphaeng Phet Blue Line underground station. It is therefore a good base either for sightseeing around Bangkok, or prior to onward travel by train. In the vicinity are Bang Sue Mall and the Or Tor Kor market. Hotel staff were efficient and friendly. Reception staff obligingly kept our luggage for several hours after checkout while we continued sightseeing before our onward journey.

The location is good if you want to visit Chatuchak Weekend Market, which is less than 5 mins by foot. Travelling to City Center is so convenient with MRT. 7-11 is on the opposite side of the hotel. Breakfast price is 300 THB per person is a really good deal. They have everything for everyone. Everything in room is great for a short stay. Comfy bed, air con work well, Hot Shower, also the internet connection. As a Solo Traveller, I love to chill at the hotel bar, try the signature drinks before going to bed, as I feel safer in the hotel bars than going to any bars outside. The only down side for me is, the hotel bar is closed on Sun & Mon. So I have no chance to enjoy my evening there.

Panawan

Clean, hygienic, new, secure. Big window for light in the day, heavy drapes for night. A/C very quiet, shower hot with good pressure. Bed and pillows super comfortable. Easy check in and very warm, welcoming receptionists. Walking distance to metro, Chatuchak weekend market, JJ and the Red Vintage malls, very clean Or Tor Kor farmers market with eateries and coffee as well. There's even a Royal Project coffee shop and store there... a non profit organization begun by the former king. Best of all and worth a visit is the beautifully maintained, extensive park. A great place to decompress from the city and be surrounded by nature.
